TRIADOPTION's Surname Birthdate Index

TRIADOPTION® Library volunteers compiled an index to all of the surnames and birthdates listed in all of the resources once held there. This was published in a hardcover, library bound volume in 1992 as a Collector's Edition.

This index was a broad sweeping attempt to cross-reference surnames and birthdates to the originating source of data. This collection was compiled from the early 1970's to about 1989, to assist searchers in locating possible family information. Many organizations, publications and other adoption search and support resources have since ceased activity, or the records have become inaccessible. This index helps identify and preserve access to some of that information by referencing directly to newsletters and newsclippings available elsewhere on this website. Groups that have closed often sent their membership documents to other organizations either in the geographical area, or one that could accommodate incorporating and preserving into the future. Always check with International Soundex Reunion Registry as they accepted data from many, so the groups members may now be registered with ISRR.
